SKG holds a PEO certificate of authorization, and our firm's principals are registered professional engineers. Our team of experts provides innovative engineering solutions related to new construction, from project inception to final sign-off, as well as investigative reviews and restoration. Our involvement in new construction, restoration, performance reviews, and investigations has exposed us to new materials and procedures, providing our staff with valuable expertise and information. Faruq Ahmad, P.Eng.
Faruq Ahmad is a professional engineer (PEO) with over 30 years of experience in the field of structural and building science engineering. His extensive technical background and leadership skills encompass various areas, including design analysis, fabrication, construction, inspection, and investigative review of a wide range of building envelope systems. These include window and curtain wall systems, skylights, metal panels, sealants, masonry, precast panels, waterproofing systems, roofing, and fire and life safety systems.
Faruq is adept at reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, conducting building condition assessments, performing technical audits, preparing reserve fund studies, and ensuring compliance with Tarion bulletin-19 and 49 requirements. As the primary client contact, he is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all project activities to ensure successful completion.
